Largesse Carolignian Journal
The idea behind this one – after trying for precise and beautiful Carolignian journals – was to see how fast and dirty I could knock one out without too many compromises. Plywood boards, drilled rather than hand-cut, are really the main concessions to time and ease; the fit and finish . I did the math and I can turn these out in a weekend for under $5 apiece, which certainly makes them viable largesse gifts, but I need to pay a little more attention to fit and finish in the final stages.
